Studio Sofia Beas (SSB) is a New York–based interior architecture and creative direction studio led by Sofía Beas. Rooted in her Mexican upbringing and guided by a disciplined eye for proportion, light, and material, the practice creates narrative-driven, tailored spaces that balance elevated and honest materials with texture, color, and function to create warm, tactile, emotionally-resonant environments that are both timeless and unexpected. Each project is rigorously executed and exactingly detailed—from concept and joinery through finish and installation—to produce sophisticated spaces in which every touchpoint is intentional.
Working collaboratively across interior architecture, furniture, and contemporary art, SSB articulates visual and spatial languages that elevate the project’s character. The studio is guided by what is not immediately visible: methods that reveal meaning, materials that tell stories, and systems that organize experience—moving fluidly between analog and digital, editorial and spatial, tactile and symbolic.
